Ladies and Gentlemen, Colleagues and Friends,

Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the Republic of Mozambique.

I am honored to assume the position of Ambassador E​xtraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the Republic of Mozambique, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (June 25, 1975 - June 25, 2025). I would like to send my warmest greetings and best wishes to the Government and people of Mozambique, the Vietnamese community in Mozambique, and all friends and partners who have been accompanying the friendship and cooperation between our two countries.

Vietnam and Mozambique have a long-standing traditional friendship and cooperation, originating from mutual support in the struggle for national independence in the past, and in the cause of national construction and development today. Over the years, that relationship has been inherited and nurtured by generations of leaders and people of the two countries. Bilateral cooperation has continuously developed in many fields, from politics & diplomacy, economics & trade, investment, security & defense, education & training, medical & health care, telecommunications, agriculture & fishery, to people-to-people exchange. The current regional and global situation poses many challenges for each country, but the sincere feelings and desire to cooperate for the common interests of the two countries, as well as for peace, stability, and development of each region and the world will be the driving forces for the Viet Nam - Mozambique relationship to reach new developments in the future. 

The website of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Mozambique will be the official information channel, providing the latest news on the relations between the two countries, policies and regulations on investment, trade as well as information on consular work, citizen protection, etc. We hope that this will be a useful tool for the Vietnamese community in Mozambique, local friends and partners interested in cooperation with Viet Nam.

During my term, I will do my best to strengthen the relations between the two countries, promote more substantive and effective cooperation. I hope to continue to receive support and close cooperation from the Governments, ministries, sectors, businesses and people of the two countries to realize the great potential for cooperation between Viet Nam and Mozambique.
